The hospital backstop

When a complication needs theatre-level care, or a revision needs a senior plastic surgeon, the operating room, anaesthesia, and intensive care are already in the same building. Practicing inside a tertiary general hospital means that backstop is real, not theoretical.

Knowing when surgery is the right answer
